Howard G. “Buddy” Goff, Jr., age 74, of Elizabethton, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016 in Hillview Health Center and Rehab, Elizabethton, TN, where he had been a resident from September 1, 1993 until April 16, 2016. Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, Howard G., Sr. and Dorri Lee Marler Goff.Mr. Goff has left behind: Step-mother: Peggy Whittaker Step-brother: Burt Whittaker Step-sister: Debbie George Special Friends from Hillview Health Center and RehabGraveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wed, April 20, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Jackie Cole officiating. this is an addendum to my previous comments. my mom and i met buddy in the late 1990 s when my uncle GOOSE was in hill view nursing home. we liked buddy and we became good friends with him. we visited him often even after my uncle passed away.. we would watch comedy movies with him in the recreation room and also some old mystery movies. the comedies were like amos and andy , ma and pa kettle at home , etc. we would take him a calender or a WWE wrestling book every christmas. we liked buddy a lot and will always remember him . may god bless and cmfort you with the loss of BUDDY.
