Dwight (Edd) Edward Williams, age 62, of Erwin, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016, at his residence. Mr. Williams was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Arnold Martin Williams, Jr. and Irene Tilson Smith, and has lived all of his life in Erwin. TN. He formerly worked for Morflo and Kenne Metals. Dwight attended the Lower Higgins Creek Church of God. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed digging ramps. In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams is preceded in death by sisters Robin Roberts, Peggy Lou Williams, a brother Robert Allen Driscoll and his maternal grandparents Thomas and Zora Tilson.Dwight E. Williams has left behind to cherish his memories: Wife: Jill Williamson Williams of Erwin; Son: Dwight Williams and wife, Misty of Erwin; Sisters: Teresa McClanahan and husband, Bill of Unicoi, Debra Harris and husband, Larry of Erwin, Tammy Pardue and husband, Phillip of Erwin, Terri Coggins and Tony Garland of Erwin; Brother: Ernest Williams and wife, Shelby of Erwin; Grandson: Austin Tyler Williams, Step-Granddaughter: Tashina Roberts; Special Children: Isaiah and Jeremiah Ward of Erwin; Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts, and Uncles; Special Niece: Danielle Huskins; Step-Father: Charles Smith of Erwin.The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Dwight Edward Williams in a funeral service to be at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, January 13, 2016 in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Reverend Dean Presnell will officiate.
