Eloise LaFollette

Eloise A. LaFollette, age 90, of Erwin, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Christian Care Center of Unicoi County. A native of Erwin, Eloise is a daughter of the late Welezie and Mae (Adams) Arwood. She was a member of Southside Free Will Baptist Church, but in later years attended Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church with her family. Eloise loved flowers, cooking and doing crafts, but most of all, she loved her grandchildren and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James David LaFollette and numerous brothers and sisters.Eloise A. LaFollette has left behind to cherish her memory: children: Angela Henson, Neal LaFollette (Teresa), and Pennie Keplinger (Tony); eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Jerry Arwood.The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Eloise A. LaFollette in a funeral service to be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024, in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. Reverend Kevin Laws and Reverend Roger Laws will officiate. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will continue until service time on Friday at Valley Funeral Home. A graveside committal service will be held following the service on Friday in Evergreen Cemetery. Those attending the committal service should meet at Valley Funeral Home by 1:30 pm. to go in procession to the cemetery. Serving as active Pallbearers will be: Brandon Gouge, Chase Honeycutt, T.J.
