Emma Lorie Allen

February 13, 1935 - February 24, 2022

Emma "Lorie" Allen, age 87, of Erwin, passed away on Thursday February 24, 2022 at the Center on Aging and Health in Erwin. A native of Erwin, Lorie is a daughter of the late Stewart and Ethel (Webb) Masters. She was a lifelong member of Love Chapel Christian Church and loved to read and mow the lawn. Lorie was a sales Rep and Model for King's Department store in Johnson City prior to being employed as a seamstress at Industrial Garment. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Allen; brothers: Bill Masters, Mike Masters, Bruce Masters and Jerry Masters; and one sister, O'Nell Masters Bennett. Emma "Lorie" Allen has left behind to cherish her memory: son: Eric Allen and Becky; granddaughter: Sierra Allen and fiancé, Chase Effler; sister: JoAnn Biggerstaff. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Emma "Lorie" Allen in a committal service to be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Evergreen Cemetery. Reverend Kevin Laws will officiate. Those attending the committal service should meet at Evergreen Cemetery by 1:50 pm on Monday for the service. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the officers of the Erwin Police Department.
