Glenna Marie Allen

Glenna Marie Allen, age 75, of Erwin, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015, at Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Robert “Bob” and Bessie Tipton Huskins. Glenna’s working career included working at Industrial Garment, Rite Aid, Revco and later retired from the Dollar Store. Ms. Allen was a member of Canah Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Glenna is preceded in death by a son Kim Edwards, grandson Eric Keith Allen, brothers Howard, J.D., Harlen, and Ronald Lee Huskins, and sisters Lucille Waites, Madelyn Mychaskiw, and Betty Jane Bailey.Glenna Marie Allen has left to cherish her memories: Father of her children and special friend: Raymond Allen of Erwin; Sons: Billy Allen of Erwin, Michael “Moose” Allen of Erwin, Gregory Scott Allen and wife, Anita of Telford; Brothers: Floyd Huskins of Erwin, Bob Huskins, Jr. of Erwin; Sisters: Lillian Miller of Ohio, Jesse Batts of Nashville, Wanda Laws of Erwin; Grandchildren: Lindsey and Hayden Allen, Jacob Allen, Zackery and Dakota Allen; Great Grandchild: Maddox Cochran; Special Friends: Barbara Higgins of Erwin, Sandra Rainer of Erwin; Several Nieces and NephewsThe family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Glenna Marie Allen in a funeral service to be held at 7:00 PM, Friday, November 6, 2015 in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Reverend Roger Laws will officiate. Vocal selections will be provided by Roger Huskins. A visitation period to share memories and offer support will begin at 5:00 PM and continue until service time at Valley Funeral Home on Friday and other times at the home of her niece, Bill and Rhonda Bradley, 216 Harris Street, Erwin, TN 37650 any time after 4:00 PM. A committal service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Evergreen Cemetery. Those who wish to attend will meet at Valley Funeral Home by 10:30 AM on Saturday.
