Harry Eugene Bowman, Jr., age 61, of Erwin, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. A native of York, PA, Harry is a son of the late Harry Eugene Bowman, Sr. and the late Brenda Kay (Martin) Lewis. He attended Erwin Church of God. In addition to his parents, Harry is preceded in death by: his brother, Robert Bowman, Sr.; sisters: Carol Ann Lane, Carolynn Rode, Hazel Gillenwater, Angela Casey and Mickey Garland; and sister-in-law, Donna Burger.Harry Eugene Bowman, Jr. has left behind to cherish his memory: daughter, Debbie Carter and husband, Curtis; son, Eric Shaffer and wife, Dawn; granddaughters: Ella and Tatiana; grandsons: Emmanuel, Robert, Aidan, and Zayn; sisters: Ruby Casey and husband, Eric, Kathy Tipton and husband, Fred, and Mamie King; brothers: Gary Bowman and Stacey Burke; brothers-in-law: Doug Gillenwater and James Casey. Several other family members and friends remain.The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Harry Eugene Bowman, Jr., in a visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family beginning at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 3, 2024 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 5:00 pm on Saturday.
