Hazel Sheehan Lance

Hazel Sheehan Lance, age 89, of Erwin, TN, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Governor's Bend Assisted Living. Hazel is a daughter of the late Melvin and Molly (Hill) Sheehan. She was a member of Pentecoastal Holiness Church. Hazel enjoyed reading, crosswords, word search, Bible study and being a prayer warrior. In addition to her parents, Hazel is preceded in death by brothers: Ned, Dallas, Jack, John, Melvin Jr. and Wayne; sisters:Ruby Tipton, Mable Gegley, Doris Cox, Jane Lewis and JoAnn ToddHazel Sheenan Lance has left behind to cherish her memory sons: Rick Lance (Lisa) of Huntsville, TX and Larry Lance (Maria Rosa) of Dumphreys, VA; two grandsons; two great grandchildren and brother MacArthur "Mac" Sheehan of Temple, TX.The family would like to offer special thanks to ALL the staff at Governor's Bend Assisted Living and Amedisys Hospice for their loving care.The family respectfully request the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Hazel Sheehan Lance in a graveside service to be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Evergreen Cemetery.
