Helen N. Street

Helen Norris Street, age 88, of Johnson City, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Cornerstone Village in Johnson City. Helen is a native of Unicoi and a daughter of the late John Clinton and Pearl (Britt) Norris. She was a member of Ninth Street Baptist Church. Her and her husband loved to camp and visit the beach. She loved to cook large meals for her family, tend to her Geraniums and loved her cats. In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her husband, George C. Street.Helen Norris Street has left behind to cherish her memories: Daughters: Becky Cooper and husband J. B., of Johnson City; Nancy Decio and husband Ronald, of Johnson City; Sons: Edward Street and wife Linda, of Kingsport: Jeffrey Street and wife Vivian, of Pocatello, ID; Grandchildren: Beth Hood of Kingsport, Matt Street of Kingsport, Jeremy Cooper of Johnson City, Ryan Cooper of Johnson City, Jeffrey Street of Ft. Worth, TX, Kyle Street of Boise, ID; Great Grandchildren: Macy Street, Jackson Cooper and Laurel Cooper.A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 11:00 AM and will continue until 1:00 PM on Monday, January 8, 2018 in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens on Monday with Bishop John Edwards officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Street, J.B.
