Latricia Diane "Pat" Edwards

Latricia Diane "Pat" Edwards, age 68 of Erwin, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at her home. A native of Miami, FL, Pat is a daughter of the late Lawrence Harrison and Mildred (Lister) Lowery. She loved cooking, quilting and canning. In addition to her parents, Pat is preceded in death by her brother, Danny Lowery and sister, Alice Lowery Lingerfelt. Latricia Diane "Pat" Edwards has left behind to cherish her memory: husband, John M. Edwards; children: Daniel David Carver, Hoy Carver and Tonya McNally; several loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Roger Lowery; brother-in-law, Don Lingerfelt; best friend, Terri Olney; and several nieces and nephews. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Latricia Diane "Pat" Edwards in a funeral service to be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. Family and friends will provide eulogies. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 1:00 pm and will continue until service time on Wednesday at Valley Funeral Home. A graveside committal service will be held in Evergreen Cemetery following the funeral service. Those attending the committal service should meet at Valley Funeral Home by 2:00 pm on Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
