Lisa Bailey, age 62, of Erwin, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at her home. A native of Erwin, Lisa is a daughter of Belle Williams. She was a member of Cherry Grove Baptist Church. She loved cats and especially loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. Lisa is preceded in death by her grandparents, James Wilford Bailey and Pansy Bailey; two brothers, Cecil Wesley Bailey and Charles Leonard Bailey; and two sisters, Norma Jean Williams and Glenda Ledford. Lisa Bailey has left behind to cherish her memory: mother: Belle Williams; children: David Hollis Vestal, Jason Daniel Vestal and Lisa Nicole Yates; grandchildren: Kayona Yates, Zeiken Joshua Pate and Adalynn Rain Pate; sisters: Fran Broyles and husband Harold, Jana Lane and husband Mike, Shannon Ledford and Lillian Edwards and husband Benny; brothers: Daniel Wayne Bailey, Bob Bailey, Dennis Bailey, John Bailey, Ballard Bailey and Clarence Bailey; and special friends: Rita Yates, Jamie and Julie. Per Lisa’s wishes, she will be cremated and her remains will be scattered at a later date. The family would like to offer special thanks to Lisa’s Church family at Cherry Grove Baptist Church and especially her Sunday School Teacher, Kathy Bennett, for their love and kindness throughout the years.
