Lora Leona Harris

Lora Leona Harris, age 92, of Erwin, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014. She was born in Erwin and was a daughter of Norman and Rosie Houston Edwards. Lora was a cook for the former Goobers’ Restaurant and retired from Texas Instruments. She loved to garden and work with her flowers. In addition to her parents, Lora is preceded in death by her Daughter: Jane Webb, Son: Douglas Harris, Great-Grandson: Jason Wilson, Brothers: Bill and Conway Houston. Sisters: Etta, Pansy, Sally and Ethel.Lora Leona Harris has left behind to cherish her memories: Daughter: Eloise Humphreys of Erwin; Granddaughter: Traci Ambrose-Holloway and her husband Steve of Erwin, Teresa Dragoo and her husband Nolen, Panama City, FL; Grandson: William Douglas Harris III, his spouse Stacy, Dallas, TX; Great Grandchildren: Tonya Lane, Travis Wilson, Brian Wilson; Great Great Grandchildren: Kraig Adkins, Bradley Wilson, Sylvia Jayne Wilson; Special Niece: Joyce Routh, MD; Special Friend: Rachel Foster of Erwin The family requests the honor of your presence as we honor and remember the life of Lora Harris in a graveside service to be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at the Mausoleum Chapel of Evergreen Cemetery.
