Sheila Hatcher Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Sheila Hatcher, age 66, of Erwin, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022 at her home. A native of Erwin, Sheila is a daughter of the late Herbert and Thelma (Lance) Wilson. She was a member of Redeeming Grace Baptist Church. She enjoyed walking, singing and crafting. Sheila Hatcher has left behind to cherish her memory: husband, Gary B. Clark; step-children: Matthew Clark, Charlie Davis, Gary Clark and Candy Snyder; brothers: Michael Wilson and wife, Denise, and Lonnie Wilson and wife, Mary; sisters: Susie Wilson Ledford and Debbie Story and husband, Michael; nieces and nephews: Vickie Davis, Jamie Ledford, Kim Wilson, Eli Wilson, Peggy Cox, Sonja Hill, Garrett Howell, Nicole Wilson, Megan Wilson, Emmy Lynn Story, Brandon Davis, Jerry Powers, Gracie Clark, Lillian Clark, John Clark, Aaron Clark, Tammy Clark, Kayden Clark, Michael Clark, Jaynell Davis, Valerie, and Brianne Metcalf. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Sheila Hatcher in a funeral service to be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. Reverend William Morrow and Reverend Mike Wilson will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by Reverend Lonnie Wilson. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 6:00 pm and will continue until service time at Valley Funeral Home. A graveside committal service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 21, 2022 in Bumpus Cove Cemetery. Those attending the committal service should meet at Valley Funeral Home by 10:30 am on Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers will be: Matthew Clark, Jamie Ledford, Raymond Mahallie, Malachi Booker, Junior Booker, Brandon Davis, and Terry Woodby. Honorary pallbearer will be Garrett Howell.
