CHUCKEY - Don Davis, age 65, of Chuckey, TN, passed away at this residence Sunday March 30, 2008. Don was born in Washington County, TN to Arthur C. Davis and the late Oneida Shockley Davis. Don is a former employee of TPI and Monte Vista Cemetery. He attended Cherokee Mountain Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Nola Rosenbaum Davis, Daughters, Cynthia Jennings and husband Larry of Chucky; Felita Davis and boyfriend Mike Reed of Greeneville; Sons, Arthur R. Davis and wife Marlene of Jonesborough, Donald Ray Davis and wife Elizabeth of Jonesborough, Wesley Whitson, Greeneville; Sister, Jean Greene and husband Paul of Jonesborough; Grandchildren, Lynn Jennings, Lee Jennings, Jacky Jennings and Emery Jennings, Geneva Davis, Nola Davis, Renee Davis and Arthur Davis, Jr.; Step grandchildren, Tabitha and Felicia Reed The funeral service for Don will be Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at seven o?clock in the chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Reverend Richard Tittle and Reverend Brad Willis will officiate. Music will be provided by Juanita Tittle. The family will receive friends from five o?clock until the time of the funeral service and at other times at the residence. Interment will be Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at eleven o?clock at Cherokee Mountain Cemetery. All those wishing to attend, please meet at the cemetery by 10:50 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Serving as active pallbearers will be Allen Greene, Gary Greene, Bobby Greene, Michael Greene, Lee Jennings, Lynn Jennings, Emery Jennings and Darrell Wainstock.
