Belle Webb

Belle Webb, 97, 100 Stalling Lane, formerly of Town Acres, died Saturday, May 27, 2006, at Erwin Health Care. She was a native of Yancey County, N.C. and a daughter of the late John Henry and Mary Jane Bradshaw Webb. She retired from the Nu Wray Inn, Burnsville, N.C. where she had opportunity to host several well know personalities. She was a former member of Clinchfield Senior Citizens and a member of the Bretheren Church, Burnsville, N.C. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters. She leaves behind: One Son: Leroy Webb, Erwin Two Grandsons: Danny Webb, Erwin Johnny Webb, Jonesborough One Great Grandchild Two Great, Great Grandchildren The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 30, 2006, in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Rev. Doug Hinshaw will officiate. Interment will follow at Martin Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at Valley Funeral Home from noon until service time.
