Billy Toney

Billy Dean Toney, age 68, of Erwin, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011. He was a native of Unicoi County, and a son of the late Reed and Avon McIntosh Toney. Billy attended the North Erwin Church of Christ. He had worked for 10 years in maintenance for KFC and Pizza Inn until his retirement in 1993.   He is survived by: Wife of 43 years: Linda Johnson Toney;   Son:                 Shannon Toney and Fiancé Cindy Holly of Erwin; Daughter:          Dawn Toney of Elizabethton; Brothers:          Lowell Toney of IL;                         Hank Jones of VA; Sisters:             Jo Ann Edwards of Erwin;                         Paulett Kyker of Jonesborough;                         Joyce Brandon of FL; Sister-in-law:    Barbara Leedy of Erwin; Brother-in-law: Buddy Johnson of Erwin; Grandchildren:                         Joshua Dean and Jacob Miller Several Nieces and Nephews.                         The funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, July 8, 2011 in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Danny Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time Friday at Valley Funeral Home.
