Herman White

Herman Charles White, age 78, died Monday, June 25, 2007, at his home. Born in Unicoi County, he was the son of Jonathan and Maggie Goforth White. He worked for Daniels Construction at Eastman Chemical as a pipefitter/plumber and retired in 1990. He attended Unicoi Church of God. He is preceded in death by three brothers and 10 sisters. He is survived by: his wife, Minnie McLaughlin White, Unicoi; daughter, Diane Banks and husband Richard, Unicoi; son, Roger White and his wife Janie, Jonesborough; three brothers, Lloyd David White, Erwin, J.L. White, Erwin, Ray L. White, Michigan; sister, Loretta White Ledford, Johnson City; grandsons, Freddie Lyle, Logan Lyle; granddaughter, Michelle Hubbard and husband Jonathan; great grandson, Brayden Hubbard; Several nieces and nephews; Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 28, 2007, at Eight o'clock in the chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Dr. Eugene Penland and Reverend Ronnie Holloway will officiate. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Graveside service and interment will be Friday, June 29, 2007, at Ten o'clock at the Fishery Community Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews of Herman White.
