Margaret Marshall, age 88, of Johnson City, formerly of Erwin, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, in the Johnson City Medical Center. Born in Erwin, she was the daughter of the late James and Elsie McKeehan Wilkerson. Margaret was the former owner and operator of Moss Flower Shop until her retirement in 1982. She was a member of the Erwin Presbyterian Church and the Johnson City Senior Center. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Marshall, her daughter, Shirley Margaret Cacy, five sisters, and one brother. Margaret leaves behind her two daughters, Elizabeth Lynn Street, Erwin, Charlene Gingrow, Johnson City; two sons, Paul Wilson, Anchorage, Alaska, Edward Bruce Wilson, Colorado Springs, Colorado; 14 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Margaret will be held Today, Friday, February 15, 2008, at 2:30 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery. Reverend Steve Rembert will be officiating the service. All those planning on attending the service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:20 Friday afternoon. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Johnson City Senior Center, 607 East Myrtle Avenue, Johnson City, TN, 37601. Betty Lynn, Paul, Charlene and family. You were all so blessed to have such a wonderful Mother. That smile, that laugh and that energy. each one such happy memory. As you know, I have known her most of my life and cherish all the times that I spent with all of you. She, in turn, was very blessed to have each one of you. Cherish the memories, they are so beautiful.

Our hearts go out to Margaret's family & friends. She will be remembered as a bright, funny, and interesting woman. What a strong & positive spirit! We miss her at the Senior Center, but we know she's in a better place and that she's enjoying her dancing once again.
I met Margaret when I was working at the Johnson City Seniors' Center. She truly helped to make each day a special one. She always had a smile and kind word for everyone. She will be missed. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

We were so sorry to hear of MArgaret's passing. We didn't read it until this afternoon.She was a very "SPECIAL" lady. I guess she finally threw away the old mailbox. I so enjoyed our days at the Apple Festival and enjoyed her sewing so much. As I said she was a very SPECIAL LADY. We will be thinking of you and all of your family.

We always looked forward to visiting with Margaret at the Senior Center. We shared a lot of laughs and enjoyed being with her. She was so cheerful and upbeat. Margaret will be greatly missed.

I had the privledge of taking care of Mrs. Marshall during her stay at Lake Bridge Health Care Center and she always had a special way of brightening everybodys path that she crossed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her wonderful family at this difficult time. I know my words can't take away your pain but I wanted to let you know that she will be missed.
