Mary Lou Clark, age 82, of Unicoi, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at her residence. Mary was a native of Washington County and a daughter of the late Lou Holmes Gunn Sr. and Mary Katherine Harris Gunn. Mary was a loving mother and homemaker. She was widely known as a Fortune Teller/Psychic. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by Brothers: Ben Gunn, Lou H Gunn, Jr. and Sister: Shirley Rogers.Mary has left behind to cherish her memories: Her husband: Andrew Clark of Unicoi Four Sons: Andrew Lou Clark Jr. and wife Jeanette of Unicoi Dwight Clark and wife Kathy of Kansas Troy Clark and wife Gloria of Unicoi Roy Clark and wife Diana of N. C. Seven Grandchildren: Misty Carty Mindy Helton, Kristen Dempsey Dalton Ray Clark, Leah Anna Clark, Holly and Heather Clark Five Great-Grandchildren: Zack Clark, Ciara Helton, Marley Helton, Avery Helton and Trevor Dempsey Several Nieces and NephewsThe family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we remember and offer tribute to the life of Mary Lou Clark in a funeral service to be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 3, 2015, in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Rev. Dallas Greg will officiate. Vocal selections will be provided by Angela Willis and Leah Anna Clark. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 5:00 PM, Tuesday, March 3, 2015, in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home and will continue until the service and other times at the residence of Troy Clark, 135 Troy Clark Lane, Unicoi, TN, 37692. A committal service will be at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Clark Family Cemetery with the family serving as pallbearers. I just found out Mary Lou passed away...So saddened to hear this...I know it's hard for the family..I'm gonna miss her so much..I hadn't talked to her in a while but she has been on my mind many times. A lot has happened in my family over the last 6 months and things going on in my personal life. Mary Lou was on my mind a lot today n I called her number n never got an answer..I tried 2 times..then i looked her name up on google and saw this obit...my eyes filled with tears and my heart goes out to all the family. My best friend Shaunda (Queen) sends her love to the family also. 24 (Big Red's) daughter :)
