Mary Henry

Mary Ott Henry, age 93, of Unicoi, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2008, in the Erwin Healthcare after an extended illness. Born in Charles Town, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Adam E. and Grace Fritts Ott. Mary worked until her retirement for Perfection Garment Company in Martinsburg, WV as a seamstress for 25 years. She was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church, Charles Town, WV. She loved her family and gardening was a true passion to her. Besides her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Garland Henry (April 1986), 6 brothers, Woodrow Ott, Elmer Ott, Harry Ott, Lester Ott, Willard Ott, and Herbert Ott, and one grandson, Peter Henry. Mary leaves behind her daughter, Barbara H. Hampton and her husband, John, Unicoi; her son, David L. Henry and his wife, Susan, Unicoi; one sister, Katherine Wagner, Johnson City; two brothers, John P. Ott, Ranson, WV, and Warren Richard Ott, Orlando, FL; seven grandchildren, Terry L. Hampton, Charles L. Hampton, David W. Henry, Robert Henry, Timothy Henry, Kim Henry, and Shirlee Wackerle; several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
