II Timothy 4:7-8 Robert Harvey “Bob” Williams, Sr., 2007 Masters Lane, Erwin went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at his residence. He was a native of Unicoi County and a son of the late Dillard and Elizabeth Jones Williams. He had retired as a supervisor from American Water Heaters, Johnson City. Bob was a member of Riverview Baptist Church where he served as a church Trustee. He loved life, his family and friends. Bob enjoyed fishing and hunting as a pass time. He was a fan of gospel music and enjoyed reading his Bible. Other than his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his brothers, Otis, Avery, Grady, Coy and Thamer Williams, and sisters, Dorothy Meadows, Arelana Williams and Rose Tilson. Mr. Williams leaves behind: Wife: Charlotte Hardin Williams of Erwin Children: Ronnie Williams of Erwin Robert Williams, Jr. and wife, Kim of Erwin Steve Williams and wife Traci of Gray David Williams and wife Rhonda of Erwin Leslie Grindstaff of Elizabethton Mona Gouge of Erwin Tuesday Young and husband Gary of Erwin 18 Grandchildren 9 Great Grandchildren Sisters: Ola Cooper of St. Clair, MI Helen Tittle of Erwin A time for visitation to share memories and support for the family will begin at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Valley Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life to honor and remember Bob’s life will start at 8:00 PM on Thursday in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Reverend Roger Stockton and Dr. Alan King will officiate. A committal service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Mausoleum Chapel of Evergreen Cemetery. Those who will be attending will meet at Valley Funeral Home by 10:30 AM to go in procession to Evergreen Cemetery. Those serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Williams, Gary Young, Josh Grindstaff, Les Grindstaff, Carl Hardin, Clyde Edwards, Justin Wilson, and Jerhia Wilson. I have know Bob four forthy- five years . We have had some great times together the most good times was church revivals that we have injoyed together and pray times. And all the cook outs we have had together. Even when we went fishing an did not catch anything we still have some laughes Bob would always say we get them the next time.
