Dorothy Ann Harding, age 73, of Erwin, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020 the Center on Aging and Health. A native of Flag Pond, Dorothy is a daughter of the late William Guy and Molly (Rice) Harding. She was an employee of Nuclear Fuel Services before retiring after 25 years of service. Dorothy enjoyed several years of retirement prior to her illness, 6 years ago. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Dorothy loved life and made friends wherever she was.The family would like to offer sincere thanks to nurses and staff of the Center on Aging and Health who took such good care of her.Dorothy Ann Harding has left behind to cherish her memory: Brother: Phil Harding; Sisters: Norma Jean Griffith and husband, Paul, Lois Ann Tipton and husband, Doyle; Several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; Very special friends: Doris Byrd, Pat AdkinsThe family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Dorothy Ann Harding in a funeral service to be held at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. Pastor Charles David Byrd and Reverend Craig Shelton will officiate. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 and will continue until service time in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home.
