Gerald Shell

Gerald Shell, age 50, of Johnson City, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at his home. A native of Erwin, Gerald is a son of Elwonda (Lacey) Shell and the late Wayne Ben Shell. He loved his family and friends. In addition to his father, Gerald is preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Lou Shell, and one nephew, Eric Shell.In addition to his mother, Gerald Shell leaves behind to cherish his memory: Brother: David Shell; Special brother: Scott James; Special friends: Nathan Peake, Jonathan Kegley; Special aunt: Shirley Erwin; 2 nieces.The family would like to offer special thanks to Nate and Kegley, the nurses and staff of Amedisys Hospice Care, Koby Strawser and Jeff Davis for all their loving kindness during this difficult time.The family respectfully requests your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Gerald Shell in a graveside committal service to be held on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 3:00 PM in Garland Cemetery. Koby Strawser and Danny Hughes will officiate.
